How to Use the Generator

ROOT NOTE: Choose the first note highlighted on the piano.

SCALE:Choose which kind of interval you want.

PATTERN: Type any interval pattern up to 12 as highest in the format shown (number comma number... cont) to set the interval) Attach 1 or more dashes - or -- to a number followed by a comma to sustain a single note longer for sustain or tempo changes for specfic notes. Two or more dashes per number = super sustains. Ex- 5--,3,1 = super sustain on the fifth

RANGE START: Set the lowest note reached in the exercise.

RANGE END: Set the highest note reached in the exercsie.

MODE: Sequential- Meaning the notes play one at a time dictated by the pattern, followed by a vamp chord leading into the upcoing step in the exercise.

LOOP MODE: Choose if you want the exercise to go to the top note and back down over and over or just once up and down.

TEMPO- Type how fast you want the pattern as a whole to move. High numers = slower patterns while low numbers = faster patterns. A good neuteral speed is 400. A fast speed may be 250-300 and a very slow speed might be 2000.

DURATION- How long you want each note to echo seperate from the dash rule in the PATTERN box. Recommended neutral is 0.60. Higher would indicate a longer sustain.

PLAY, PAUSE, RESUIME, STOP- Starts the exercise after input, pauses the exercise at any point, resumes the exercise from a paused point, stops the exercise and resets.

TIMELINE BAR- Allows you to seek a specfic point in the exercise if you need to redo a particualr interval. Hit pause and resume after you seek to hear the proper playback point.

THE PIANO VISUAL- Non interactable, only shows what notes are being played as the exercise moves and what range is highlighted.
